What is Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)?
Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy treats men and women who suffer from hormonal imbalance. Bio-Identical Hormones are artificial hormones that come from plant estrogens (mostly wild yams and soy plants). They are custom made to be chemically identical to the hormones produced by the human body. These hormones contain the exact molecular structure as those in our body and they produce the same physiologic response as those naturally produced in the body.
Who needs BHRT?

Those symptoms may be the earliest signs of aging, such as foggy thinking, sleeplessness, muscle loss, or low energy. BHRT for women:

Imbalances can occur due lifestyle and environmental factors, as well as expected changes, such as onset of menses, pregnancy, childbirth, perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause. Imbalances of hormones, including estrogen, progesterone and testosterone can lead to many uncomfortable experiences, like night sweats, hot flashes, mood swings, depression, and anxiety. The most common decline seen in menopausal and post-menopausal women is estrogen. When estrogen levels become unbalanced, women may experience symptoms such as low libido and bone loss. BHRT for men:

The active ingredient in KYBELLA® is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath the chin, KYBELLA® destroys fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal.
Submental fullness, or fullness under the chin, is a common problem encountered by both men and women. There are a variety of factors that can contribute to this problem including genetics, aging, and weight gain. Many people with fullness of this area are not overweight and are unable to get rid of this stubborn fat despite diet and exercise. Kybella is unique and is an FDA approved agent that improves fullness associated with submental fat. Kybella is best for patients whose double chin is caused by excess fat and who have mild to moderate skin excess. It is not appropriate for patients with significant excess skin.
Kybella is administered in the office and is often tolerated well. Clinical studies showed the most common side effects include redness, swelling bruising, and numbness, all of which were temporary, lasting less than 4 weeks.

Laser and light-based technology is effective for hair reduction and the removal of unwanted body hair. During laser hair removal, a laser beam passes through the skin to an individual hair follicle.
The concentrated heat of the laser damages the hair follicle, resulting in reduction of the number of follicles and the quality of hair. Hair will be less noticeable, finer, and possibly lighter. Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is a plasma concentrate derived from the patient's blood that comprises predominantly platelets. Numerous growth factors are present within platelet granules. The growth factors found in these blood components stimulate cell proliferation and differentiation leading to increased hair growth and increased collagen production. PRP was identified as having a beneficial effect on bone grafting with applications in oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthopedic and cardiac surgery over ten years ago. More recently, increasing interest is seen in the application of PRP in dermatology, for example, tissue regeneration; wound healing and fat grafting. It has also been shown to promote hair survival and growth, both in vitro and in vivo.
Dermaplaning uses a sterile medical blade to gently scrape away the superficial layers of dead skin cells. The benefits are much smoother skin – makeup will go on like never before and look flawless; removal of soft facial hair that traps dirt and oil in turn promoting better skin health. Skincare products or other treatments are more effective as products are able to penetrate the skin more deeply. Dermaplaning helps with fine lines and wrinkles, dull, tired skin and blocked pores.
Fractional co2 laser resurfacing
Fractional or “pixilated” carbon dioxide (CO2) lasers are one of the latest advances in non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatments. The CO2 laser has the longest wavelength of all the lasers on the market and can be used safely on darker skin types with appropriate adjustments in the settings.
Fractional CO2 lasers excel at treating deeper wrinkles, more severe textural changes from sun damage, wrinkles, blotchiness, acne scars, and surgical or traumatic scars. It can be used on the delicate skin, such as eyelids and around the mouth. It is also a very effective treatment for sun damage and precancerous growths.
Sclerotherapy effectively treats reticular and spider veins. It's often considered the treatment of choice for small spider and reticular veins.
Sclerotherapy involves injecting a solution directly into the vein. The sclerotherapy solution causes the vein to scar, forcing blood to reroute through healthier veins. The collapsed vein is reabsorbed into local tissue and eventually fades.
After sclerotherapy, treated veins tend to fade within a few weeks, although occasionally it may take a month or more to see the full results. In some instances, several sclerotherapy treatments may be needed.
